Why are we doing this?
The Covid-19 outbreak created crisis conditions around the world. This distruption has created a new motivation for change and greater openess of companies and communities to embrace new solutions to the challenges we face. Nevertheless, there is a deluge of information and conflicting advice, making for a confusing and highly stressful environment. Paul and Nigel conceived ESGX™ as a way to connect people, share informed perspective on what is happening, and act as a lightning rod for collaboration in difficult times, to help build better, more resilient and more inclusive economies and societies.
Why now?
Especially in the age of Covid-19 and Climate Threats, connecting all of us to pursue our common interest in action via sustainability and long-term thinking is more important than ever. Millions of people have shifted overnight to remote working for the first time, creating for many a real sense of loneliness, seeking hope and optimism about the future. Thus, we introduce ESGX™ to spur more social connectivity as we isolate ourselves physically, and to stimulate creativity in developing and implementing strategic and tactical responses.
Who is welcome?
ESGX™ live events are for anyone involved with or interested in sustainability, ESG, industry 4.0 and impact investing -- and how long-term thinking, the circular economy and related concepts can help us all to make better decisions and identify more effective responses to the challenges that we currently face. Attendees come from influential roles across the finance, business, government and not-for-profit sectors globally, including sustainability experts and those who have a broader interest in applying original thinking.
Key goals we pursue together
- How do we stay positive and look after each other?
- How should we develop solutions to the problems that we are facing?
- How do we plan and take action towards a stronger, more resilient future?
